Memories of Abby
Abby loved her ice cream. After a dog show, I would get her a small bowl of vanilla ice cream. I would feed to her with a spoon.

She learned to play frisbee, she loved to carry a deflated basketball all around our yard. We'd kick it and she'd chase it grab it and play keep away.

Her main job was to chase the deer from our 5 acres and to dig for the pesky ground squirrels.

She'd sleep under the bed at night. I keep waiting for her to do that. She'd always "ask permission" before she jumped in your lap. She did this by waving her right paw at us. If we said yes, she was on our lap in a minute, if we said no, she'd go sulk.

She was a joy, made us laugh and now cry. She loved children, our neighbor kids would come over to ask if she could come out an play.

She loved the snow. She would run and jump and make snowballs with her nose.

Rest in peace dear Abby. Enjoy the endless fields at Rainbow Bridge, we'll be together again someday.

5/9/2010 It's been a year since you left us. We still miss you very much. We have Sassy now. You would love her to play with. She's not your replacement, no one could ever replace you.

5/9/2011 2 years and you're still missed. We now have another boy, Buck. He and Sassy play like you and Rascal did. We miss you both very much.

5/9/2014 4 years, miss you very much. Our Buck is now Ch Topsail N Tradewind's Cowboy Casanova. You are still our heart dog.
