Memories of Aprl

Aprl was a Pekin drake. I raised Aprl from March 23, 2007, to August 16, 2007 (5 months), with Maytrix and Junebug, his mallard 'brothers'. I never knew a Pekin from duckling to adult before, and he showed me a whole new world...I always loved ducks, but never had one I could hold and hug and kiss, and get kisses and hugs from. He will always be with me, and a part of me is with him. I don't know why he had to go, or what caused him to, but he was my teacher. He looked like an angel, and was one. He always looked like he was smiling, maybe because I always smiled at him. No words can express the loss, it goes so deep. I'll never forget all the joy he brought...all the laughter and smiles, pure happiness and fun. * *Aprl* * 3/15/2007 - 8/16/2007 THANK YOU to all the wonderful,comassionate,caring people that have or will send a sympathy card or sign the guest book.I've gotten so many,I can't reply to them all,but appreciate it.I do appreciate every single one. And I'm sorry for your losses, too.
