You were a true survivor from the begining. When Robert found you under the house, it was evident you had not had an easy start in life. But you came a long way with love, understanding and a caring home to live in. You soon brought little ones into the world and allowed one of your "kids" to share your home with you. You always kept that independent spirit, and you let others know when they were coming too close to your territory. But there was a very loving side to you as well. When you would follow Robert around the house or come across the street with us when we visit the neighbors (one of your kittens would eventually end up with them as well). You loved having your chin rubbed and would purr with contentment. I would find you in the bedroom curled up with your baby doll sleeping, or every once in awhile catch you looking at us with love in your eyes. I felt a special bond with you these last months as I tried to help you. It gave me special time with you that I will always treasure. I wished I could have saved you baby girl, but cancer has a way of surviving even the strongest of souls. I know that you felt our love always and that you knew we fought right along with you. Now you are at Rainbow's Bridge where you are safe and without any pain. Where you can run free along the green, sweet smelling hills. And you have your sisters, Sheena, Krystal and Lindsey right there with you to keep each other company. Know that we will always love you Augie and though the heartache that we are feeling right now is great, I feel at peace knowing you are safe and no longer in pain. We are sending you all our love and lots of hugs and kisses little one. Snuggle down with your sisters and enjoy this quiet place...and always know that you are never far from our hearts and our thoughts. Snuggle with your sisters and know that we will always love you all. 9/19/09 It is hard to believe that it has been a year since you passed on to Rainbow's Bridge. Your daughter Little Girl is with you now along with your other sisters. Our home is not the same without you sweet kitty but I know that you are in a safe and peaceful place and that you are surrounded by your sisters and can run and play with them now. We keep pictures of all of you around us so you are never far from our thoughts and the memories we keep of you are always there. Snuggle with your sisters sweet kitty and know how much you are loved and missed. I'm sending you hugs and kisses and lots of love always. |
