And there I'll find my sweetheart Running fast toward me In my arms where he belongs for all eternity. 5-6-07: Wishes" We wish we could have told you, in words you'd understand, We wanted you to stay with us. This wasn't what we'd planned. We wish somehow to tell you, How empty we now feel. A part of us went with you, A part that time can't heal. We wish we'd once more hear you, in your softly munching hay, to hold you on our laps again and stroke your silky fur. We wish we had you back again, to fill this empty space. Andrew was my sweetie, with his big brown eyes and sweet face. You had a hard life before we found you, and are so glad we were able to make your last year here a happy and peaceful one. GOLDEN MEMORIES They say memories are golden, well, maybe that is true. I never wanted memories, I only wanted you. A million times I cried. If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died. In life I loved you dearly, in death I love you still. In my heart you hold a place no one else could fill. If tears could build a stairway and heartache make a lane. I'd walk the path to Heaven and bring you back again. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same.
