Memories of Bonita
Bonita was my best friend. She greeted me every morning with loud meows, scratched at my door & would nip at my legs for food :) When I got home from work she ALWAYS greeted me at the door. She knew how much I loved her. When she was diagnosed with lymphoma, I was very sad but I wanted to enjoy every second of her. I got to work from home occasionally & she would lay next to me the entire day. She would follow me around & didn't always like being held but would tolerate it with me. I would sing to her & constantly took pictures of her because she was so photogenic. The rescue organization I got her from named her Bonita & I decided to keep that name because she really was the most beautiful cat. I had her 11 wonderful years & miss her fiercely. She is buried outside in our backyard next to the flowers she would play with. My comfort is that I will see her again one day. I believe our pets go to heaven & believe God takes care of them until we are reunited. I know I will never have another cat like her. I will miss my little throat-purring sweet cat. I love you Bonita!❤️
