Memories of Brute
I would have to give Brute a boost up into bed every night. After I would do that I would lay down and put my head on my wife's hip. Then I would give him lovin's and ear rubs. He would nibble my nose and give me super sloppy kisses. Then we would lay down and go to sleep. No matter what time of night. It is how we finished EVERY day. Now I don't want to sleep in our bed without him. He would snuggle up so close to my wife, that she would have to sleep up in the headboard.
Brute was the ruler of his castle. He would absolutely let us know when it was time to go outside and when it was time to come back in. And we had better not forget dinner time was at 6pm.
This picture I have chosen, I took it yesterday at the park. I been taking him to the park with me so I could get him some excerise. For the past month and a half. A lot of times we couldn't go, because it would be to hot. He would get to panting real hard and drink a lot of water. But he would ALWAYS common down. Well yesterday was perfect outside. He did great at the park. We took a bunch of pictures. It was a different park than we usually go to. So he was smelling and sniffing every blade of grass at the new park... well it seemed like every blade. He seemed fine... but now he is gone.
Brute was our first dog. I never in my life thought I could LOVE a dog as much as I do. But it turns out... he wasn't a dog... he was a my best friend.

Thank you to everyone that has visited Brute's memorial and left a note. I have tried to read them all and respond. But I can not get through with out balling my eyes out. I think I just a little time for this pain to lessen. Then I will respond to everyone.
Again thank you
