Memories of Chunk

Chunky was our amazing baby, that we have lost too early. He was an amazing dog, who was loved by everyone. He was a big baby in a huge body, a gentle giant that would never hurt anyone ever. He has been sick for the past 2 1/2 years and we have done all possible to keep him with us, to look at the positive the Dr told us he only had 6 months to live, so we had an extra 2 years with him, which we were very lucky to have. Our 4 year old daughter is so devastated about his passing, that she is making it hard to not cry at every possible minute. They really do leave their paw prints on and in our hearts. I am pregnant and due next week and really thought that our Chunk was going to make it to meet our newest family member and I am devastated that he isn't. He was our only baby for almost 4 years before we had our daughter and he really was like a child - we had birthday parties for him and treated him like he was human and then when our daughter came, obviously she took most of his glory, but he never got jealous, just loved her with all of him and let her harass him at every possible moment, haha! My hopes are that he always knew how much we loved him and that he will be waiting to greet us when we get to Heaven! We love you Chunky and miss you soooo much! Love, Mommy, Daddy, Kaylee and baby
