Memories of Cindy-Lou
Cindy-Lou was my Christmas miracle, I got her because she was unwanted but that didn't last long because I wanted her with all my heart. I never knew what it really meant to be a Mammy until my little girl came into my life. She was a little tinker and always getting up to mischief and that just made her so special. She would help me with my washing, although I did have to tell her that she wasn't able to stay in the washing machine to help Mammy. She once was looked after by a friend of mine and decided it would be fun after having a lovely sleep on the top of the wardrobe, to jump on my friend's sleeping head as obviously this wasn't her Mammy. For a cat that was very wary of other people, I can't put into words how much love we had for one another, as soon as I was in the door she jumped onto my shoulders and would purr away, and that was the best part of my day. Seeing her tiny little face every day and having her cuddle either on my chest or under my legs was the best comfort anyone could have.

Not only was she the best little hunter that I had ever met, but she also could jump so high and it was amazing to watch. I just wish I had more time with her, she was only 3 years old but you wouldn't know by looking at her. She was so tiny, and I can't count how many times I would get my self all worked up because she hadn't come home from one of her adventures. I can only hope that her last little adventure was amazing and that when she was taken from me, she just knew how much I loved and always will love her.

I love you Cindy-Lou and you are always going to be my baby. I know you will be chasing mice on the rainbow bridge. I will see you again one day. Go and see Harry, he will take care of you now. Xxxxxx

Sienna you were taken from me too young and only six months after your sister. You were 7 years old and still should have had a long life ahead of you. You were so timid when I first got you but with such sass about you. You always knew you were a special little girl even if you such a shy little thing. Everyone would always comment on how pretty you were with your beautiful little pink nose and soft fur. I am so pleased to have loved you for the time I did because my life is so much better for having you. You taught me patience because that is what I needed with you. To earn your trust and respect. I can still feel you sleeping in front of my legs and snoring the sweetest sound on this earth. You were just so poorly at the end and I am so lucky that I got to spend one last week with you before saying goodbye, your kidneys gave the best fight for you as you were my little trooper. I love you Sienna and I will see you again one day. Love Mammy xxx
