7/6/16: Hi Beef. I feel bad that we haven't spent as much time visiting you lately. It's been a while, I know, but we do still miss you and love you. We have lots of great memories of you and wish you'd been with us longer. Remember when you rummaged through all the Christmas gifts and we woke in the middle of the night to find you with a half-unwrapped bag of catnip hanging from your mouth? When we moved, you were so nervous we wouldn't come back for you, but you were all we thought about all day. We missed you even for a day. We hope you and Pig became quick friends.

7/16: hi Beef. We are thinking of adopting a new kitty. We didn't wait that long after you passed and at times, I felt guilty. But I think you would've wanted the home filled with love again. 7/17: we found a new friend. He's so scared and has been abandoned. It reminds me of when we met you. They told us you'd been left in a Taco Bell dumpster and you were nervous when we met, and even more so when we brought you home. But within a few weeks, we were best friends and we tried to give you the best home for your whole life. We love you so much.

7/21: you'd love our new buddy. We are so grateful for all the times we had with you because we knew adopting an adult cat was worth it. You were a wonderful friend. We love and miss you, beef.

8/12: Hi Beef Cat! It's been a long month of trying to introduce our new family member. We miss you so much and we know you'd be happy for the new kitty, but Lady is angry and irritable. It's always hard, because we just remember all the great things you used to do, too.
