Welcome to Derby's Rainbow Residency

Derby's Rainbow Residency

Memories of Derby

The house is way too quiet without our little lamb chop. We miss the way you used to puppy up onto the bed and cuddle with us, and the way you came to us for comfort when it was raining. We'll never forget your love for tuna fish (running into the kitchen when you heard the can opener) and peanut butter (and how you cried for it as dessert). You were not only the cutest but also the smartest beardie around. You loved to strut your stuff and cry until someone acknowledged you. You were friendly to everyone, relatives, kids, and doormen, always wagging your tail and giving the beardie stretch. We remember the way you walked along the sidewalks in Queens looking up each tree for squirrels and cats, and the way you carried a bone or "Mr. Friend" outside during your walks. You loved to lay outside in the backyard resting in the shade, and digging and hiding your bones for later snacking (while covering your beard and paws with mud!). You especially loved the snow and rolling around in it. We hope you're romping around (and not barking too much!) with Grandpa and your Great-grandma, and that you met up with Bonnie & Clyde. Thank you so much for touching our lives and providing years of comfort and morning mush. Please know that we will always love you very much and miss you terribly. Rest in peace our sweet little lamby. 5/18/02 Happy Birthday Baby. We've been thinking about you so much. A day doesn't go by with you not being in our thoughts. We will always LOVE YOU!!!! 1/30/06 Derby, just wanted to let you know that you are still very much in our hearts, and always will be. Love, Mommy & Daddy
