Memories of Ginger Girl

Oh where to begin,we were lucky enough for God to allow us to have almost 16 yrs with our precious Ginger.We took Ginger in,in April of 1990. She was not quit 6 wks old.She was heading to the pound with her sister(Gizmo). My mother's friend asked if my friend and I wanted Ginger & Gizzy and of course we said HECK YEA!!! They were just the cutest things you ever seen(just balls of fur). Ginger has been my crutch more times than I can even count.She has been there thru it all.My husband is in the service and has been gone more then he's been home (actually got her while he was gone)and Ginger and I have had many long nights of talks,tears,laughter and hugs.My boys (20 &13 yrs now) have grown up with Ginger as their bestfriend. Whew this is tough.I just wish I could hug her right now and have her doggie smelly breath kiss me. There is so much I could say about Ginger,it is really hard to put it into words. I remember her big smiles,digging in the sand at the park when she was just a pup and the kids just busting up laughing at her.She used to bounce balloons off her nose,catch bubbles and try to catch balls bigger than her,she also used to try and run after dogs alot bigger than her(had to put a stop to that real quik), she thought she was one tough cookie(if those big dogs only knew how sweet she was LOL) She had to touch you when she layed anywhere,if we were not home, she would find someones pillow to lay on,the little stink. Im sure I will have to rewrite this and edit it abit,this is just some of my thoughts about Ginger,my eyes are swollen from crying and I'm not sure how much sense I made.. Ginger tomorrow will be 1 month since we had to have you put to sleep and it just seems like 1 hour ago,mommie still hurts so much. I miss you baby girl and we all love you very much,including Samson and the kittys..Take Care Sweetie. 6/6/06 Hi Baby girl, wow it has been a little while since I have been here and just seeing your pic on here makes my heart ache for you sooo much.Ginger you are missed more then you will ever know.Of course I have you buried out back under the lemon tree,lots of shade for you and talk to you out there every day,I just so want to hug you and have you lick my face,lick away my tears. Samson misses you soo much also,he is growing old and having a tough time walking.I know his time will be short,and he will probably be joining you in a few months. I don't think I will get another fur baby for awhile,I don't know.Joshie's girlfriend Heather lets Rufio come over and play and that helps.You remember Rufy huh? That Yippy cute lil boy LOL..I think it also helps Samson when he comes over, sometimes Samson gets alittle annoyed with him, but he also tries to play with him, it's cute. Ginger I miss your nails clicking on the floor at all hours,day and night,Gramma came over the other day and said she really misses you when she comes over :O(...You were always the first to greet everyone. I have to go get ready for my day now and wish you were sitting here under my feet,I LOVE YOU GINGER GIRL WITH EVERY OUNCE OF MY BEING !!! God Bless you and all your lil furry friends,Love Ya Mommie. August 11,07....Wow baby girl so much has been happening since you've been gone.HHMM Lets see,we did get a new pup,named Harley Hooperman(LOL I'm the only one who calls him that)we got him last Nov. from the pound.He was about 6 mo.when we got him and I just love him sooo , he is so halariously funny :O) and get this Samson really liked him also.I do have some bad news about Samson though,even though you already now I'm sure, since he has been playing with you for the last few months over the bridge...Ya we had to put the ol big guy to sleep also.He almost made it to 10 yrs.Big doggies like him ,don't usually make it that old...I miss him ssoooo much,but I know that the 2 of you are now together again and that does help some. We have moved to a new place and we cannot have pets here,so we gave Harley to Uncle Dennis in Az.He seems to love it out there.He has a new girl friend(Samantha) and loves the water and the car and just seems really happy...But I miss him alot. I think of you and Samson every day,every day!!!!! Time does make it better, but you are sooooo missed and will be forever and ever in my heart!! I will be back on here soon to write more..Love ya my precious pups :O) Ginger Girl I added a couple things on your stone for Samson also... RIP Samson July 1997-June 2007
