Kitters's Rainbow Residency

Memories of Kitters

Kitters, What can I say little buddy? You made my life so much better. I'll never forget all the crazy things you used to do. You used to gently wake me up by licking my arm or my eyelids, when that didn't work, you resorted to "Plan B" - biting me on the nose and running! You loved to go outside. I'd walk you on a leash and everyone couldn't believe "the crazy man" walking a cat! I used to cook you chicken on the grill, you were so spoiled!! You loved going to visit your first home in Pennsylvania, flying with me on a plane. Never a peep out of you the whole way. Every day I'd come home from work and you would run to greet me, purring all the way. It's so painful to believe that you are gone. I am so thankful that you came into my life. You know that you're my baby and you'll always be my baby, forever and ever. I love you so much, Kitters, you are a part of my soul. I'll never forget you. Wait for me little buddy, we'll see each other again, I promise. [Update - 11/29/04]: Little Buddy, it's been one whole year since you crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. I think about you every day, I miss you so much! I have some new kitties now, five of them. I could have a million and they would never replace you. I'll always love you Kitters, you're my baby forever! I look forward to the day when I can hold you again and take you for walks. Until then, wait for me and know that you are always in my heart! [Update - 11/29/05]: Kitters, it's been 2 years since you started your journey. You know that I'm always thinking of you. I miss you waking me up each morning, I miss you when I come home from work and you aren't there to greet me. I miss taking you for your walks, you really loved that. I hope you aren't mad that I have some new kitties. They could never replace you, you are my baby and you'll always be my baby! I'll always love you Kitters, My Little Buddy, forever! [Update - 11/29/06]: Kitters, Little Buddy, it's been 3 years since you left on your journey. You know I still think about you and love you very much. You probably also know that my Mom (whom you first lived with) just passed away. I bet she's feeding you turkey right now. Please take care of her until I meet all of you at the Rainbow Bridge. I love you little buddy. [Update - 11/29/07]: Kitters, my Little Buddy for all time, it's been 4 whole years since you left on your journey to the Rainbow Bridge. So much has happened in that time. Mom joined you last year and I'm sure you know Dad recently joined you too. You lived with them first and now you are living with them again. I'm sure you will keep them company until the day comes when I can join you. I'll always love you so much Kitters, my baby, my Little Buddy forever! [Update - 11/29/08]: Kitters, it's been 5 whole years since you left on your Journey to the Rainbow Bridge. I still think of you a lot and miss all the crazy things you used to do. You were truly one of a kind and my best friend in all the world. I'll never forget you, Little Buddy. I'll always love you Kitters! [Update - 11/29/09]: Well Kitters, it's been 6 years since I last held you. I still think of you and I still miss you so much. I'll always love you, Little Buddy and look forward to feeding you turkey or cooking you chicken again some day. You'll always be my Best Friend in the Whole World! [Update - 11/29/10]: Well, Little Buddy, it's been 7 years that you've been gone. I still think of you often and I wonder how you would get along with my other kitties? Knowing you, probably not very well. I miss you so much. I'll always love you Kitters! [Update - 11/29/11]: Kitters, I can't believe it's been 8 years already. Sometimes it seems like just yesterday that you left, sometimes it seems like you've been gone forever. I know you still come to visit me in my dreams to let me know you are ok and waiting for me. I can't wait to see you again My Little Buddy, you know I love you so much!
