Romeo, Has been a while since I wrote to you at Rainbow Bridge. This past year or so has been very difficult. I had another car accident and was in hospital/nursing home for almost three months. Am going to come back and write more later this week since I have so much to tell you :-) Momma Bobbie & Momma Kathy love you so very much and will see you again someday when we cross the Rainbow Bridge. We miss your cuddles and "licks" every minute of the day. Hope you can see again,run,"buzz" and are having fun with all your new friends.We made sure you have some crumpled kleenex there since you can not sneak it out of Momma Kathy's pockets now :-). Hi "devil doggie"! It is July now and very warm. Your Momma Kathy and I talked about you today. We think of you every day and every night and wish so much you were still here with us. We miss giving you lots of cuddles, hugs and kisses. I put the picture of you when you were a little puppy lying beside me in the hammock where I can see it every day. There are two little girl bichons living across from Momma Kathy now and she is helping take care of them sometimes. We know you would have liked being friends with them but I bet you have lots of new friends (maybe even some kittens, chipmunks and bunnies) at Rainbow Bridge. Enjoy your new bone treat. I bet you can eat and chew on anything you want now :-). We love you so much our little "precious joy".Hello Damien! I hope Santa brought you lots of treats for Christmas. It is hard to believe it is almost your birthday soon. You have a yummy cake that you can share with all your new friends. Momma Kathy and I miss you so much and think of you every single day. I am sending a Valentine card from us to all your friends at Lansdowne Vet Clinic .The card has a picture of a cute bichon dressed like a bumble bee jumping in the air and holding a balloon that says "Will you "bee" mine???"I think you will have a new friend joining you at Rainbow Bridge soon. His name is Max and his Momma Patty is the artist who designs all the bichon cards and flags. He is a tiny little bichon and know you will cuddle with him and watch over him. Max has been very sick just like you were. Am sure you have other new friends but I told Patty you would help him get use to his new home . Momma Kathy and I send lots of hugs, kisses and cuddles too. We love you and miss you so very very much. You have a very Happy Birthday and do lots of "bichon buzzes". Enjoy that birthday cake. Tomorrow is Momma Bobbie's birthday and Momma Kathy is taking me out to dinner. More than anything in the world I wish you were here to give me a big birthday kiss and licks :-).This morning I drove over to Starbucks on Richmond Road since they have a drive-thru.I have become "addicted" to Caramel Light Frappachino w Whipped Cream and Caramel Drizzle so have one about every week. I know if you were here you would try to lick the top of cup since usually some caramel on the outside. Momma Kathy and I love you very very much and miss you terribly. You have fun with your new chew bone and Valentine treats.Hello Damien :-). Hope you have lots of new friends. You be a good boy and pretty soon there will be spring flowers and baby birdies for you to watch (not chase). Save some kisses and licks for when we get to be with you again. Hello Damien :-) I put a chocolate bunny for you to eat and will be time for your Easter Basket soon-maybe even some lamb's ears and chew bones . Momma Kathy and Momma Bobbie went to Louisville this past week to pick up our new bichon puppy.He was born in Atlanta and his breeder brought him to Louisville since she was coming to a doggie show there.He is not nearly as small as you were when we got you since you were only six weeks old and he is about sixteen weeks old. His name is Romeo and is a cute baby boy but will never replace you in our hearts. So far his personality is a lot different than yours but has only been here a few days. He went for his first visit with Dr. Renneker on Friday and also met Claire. Right now is still getting use to his new home . He is afraid when Momma Kathy takes him out in the back yard and one of the neighborhood dogs bark. Yesterday when he was out front he met the two bichons, Bella Bella and Getonni who live across the street. They had fun playing and I know if you were still here you would like the girl bichons too. Momma Kathy thinks you might ignore Romeo :-) and is probably right about that. Hi Damien! I took your chocolate Easter bunny since it was almost gone and gave you your Easter basket. It has all kinds of treats for you including some lamb's ears to chew on.Momma Kathy and I miss you so much. Little Romeo is very different than you as a puppy. I took care of him for a few hours while Momma Kathy played bridge last week and he spent most of the time on top of the couch. He does not like to go out all the time like you did. I rarely go to McDonald's anymore but when I do your friend Jeanne always asks about you.She has not met Romeo yet. Am not sure I will be able to take Romeo very often .I miss all our trips in the car and even Troy asks about you when I get gas. Last week I went through the car wash there and remember how much you always liked that even after you were blind. I think of you every day and know that Momma Kathy does too. I still miss you so very much every day.Jeanne from McDonald's looked up your site and wrote a You have fun playing games in the snow there. We are just having rain here and no snow yet.Momma Kathy and I love you very much and think of you every day. I see that our friend Jeanne from McDonald's has visited you recently.She really misses you too. xooxoxo Romeo will need to get use to his new home. We know he will miss playing and walking with his bichon friends but Momma Kathy will take him to visit and Jan will bring the girls to visit Romeo. I took care of him a couple of times last week. He gave me lots of licks and kisses and some of them are from you. I think you two email each other from Rainbow Bridge :-).We still miss you every single day and hope you have lots of new friends. xoxoxoxo Hello Damien!I changed your site to "Summer" and left you something new. Romeo wanted me to give you a "Kong" to play with. He likes the one he has and you will have to work hard to get the treats out of it. Am sure you will enjoy that.Also gave you another big bone treat to chew on. I took care of Romeo a few days ago and groomed him for a long time. He is biting on one of his legs so has to wear one of those nasty collars like you did sometimes. He does not like to wear it either-just like you. A friend of mine made some magnets of you and Romeo for me from some pictures. I went ahead and gave Momma Kathy hers for an early birthday present. One of them is when we were "sharing" an ear of corn on the cob :-). I bet you can have about anything you want to eat at Rainbow Bridge and it is good for you. Am sure you can even have tomatoes and green beans!!! Momma Kathy and I love you very much and Romeo said to tell you he loves you too. He wishes you were here to be his big brother. We miss you very very much and think of you every day. You have a fun summer and find a pond or a pool to play in since you like water so much. His Momma Patty said he has lots of friends that are already there but know he is looking forward to meeting you and playing together. He has been sick for a very long time just as you were. He is a small little bichon and even smaller than Romeo. Romeo gave me some "licks and kisses" from you when I took care of him at Momma Kathy's on Saturday evening. Also, I saw Jeanne at McDonald's a few days ago and she loves the magnet of you I put in her July 4th bichon card. You have lots of fun and find Max to play with. We love and miss you very much. Momma Bobbie Hello Damien! It is only a few days until you went to Rainbow Bridge three years ago. Momma Kathy and I still miss you every single day. I just finished a scrapbook for Momma Kathy that I was going to give her for birthday in August but has taken me a long time to make. The very first picture shows her holding you when we brought you home from Louisville. You were such a small little puppy and so very cute. The pictures in album go from then until you were twelve and a week or so before you left us. Patty (Max's Mom) sent a card a few days ago and hopes you and Max have become friends and are playing together. I gave you a nice big bone and a squirrel friend to play with :-). You enjoy the pretty fall weather there and do lots of "bichon buzzes". We love you very much and I will write more soon. Yesterday I took Momma Kathy the album I made of your life with us.There are dozens of pictures from time we brought you home until the last month you were with us. You were such a cute tiny little puppy and it did not take long for you to become a sweet little "devil doggie" and live up to your name. Romeo looked at the album with us. Wish you two could have met and become friends. Momma Kathy thinks that you send him messages trying to teach him to be a little "devil doggie" too. He has a page in your album and in one he is sitting on top of chair with a picture of you on the table next to him. Right now Momma Kathy and Romeo are at Lansdowne Vet for his checkup. I know everyone there will think of you today and hope you are healthy again and playing with friends.Hope you have plenty of treats today and we both love you very very much. Momma Bobbie/ Hello Damien! I gave you a big piece of chesse for a new treat.Hope you and Max have become friends and have fun together. Jeanne from McDonald's and Troy from the BP station said to tell you "hello". I saw both of them a few days ago. Took care of Romeo for a while yesterday at Momma Kathy's house. She already has her Christmas tree up and some other decorations. I am a little behind this year. Remember how you would take the berry ornaments off bottom of tree and try to eat them :-). I have not asked yet if Romeo bothers the tree. He has a new doggie girlfriend who lives close to him. He still gets to play with Bella Bella and Gettoni though. Jan took care of him a few weeks ago when Momma Kathy had a lot of things to do one day. It is already December and I still have all my geraniums alive on the porch. Think this will be the last week for them though. Still have porch decorated for fall and need to change to Christmas this week. Will put a tree for you at Rainbow Bridge soon. Today is Momma Bobbie's birthday. I took away the cake since was almost gone and put your Valentine box of treats there for you.It is pretty here today and not so cold but suppose to change tomorrow. My apartment has to be painted and will take a couple of days.Am all decorated both on porch and inside for Valentine's Day :-).Have quite a few pictures of you sitting out too. There is a forsythia bush just like you had in your corner of yard :-). Barbara misses seeing you there and Momma Kathy misses living there but likes her new home. Romeo is making new friends and plays with a girl doggie named Katie. He still sees Bella Bella and Gettoni some but not as often. I took care of him for a while yesterday so got some "doggie therapy". I put my St Patrick's decorations out yesterday but do not have many of those. Will not be long until time for your Easter basket and treats. Gave you a nice big carrot this time. I looked through your album while I was at Momma Kathy's yesterday. Left you a big carrot to eat and a frisbee to play with your new friends. Now that you can see again will be fun to play like you use to. Is raining here today. I finally got all my geraniums, begonias and some herbs delivered last week. Will go later this week to buy a few more herbs. Have even been able to sit on porch a few times when cooler. We use to sit there a lot while waiting for Momma Kathy to come and pick you up. We still think of you every day and miss you so much. Romeo is having fun with Katie when she visits him a couple of days during the week. He spent the night last Saturday with the girl bichons while Momma Kathy had a long bridge game. Romeo is a sweet little doggie and know you would love him too. I have not been to see him in a couple of weeks but hope to go this week sometime. Will give him a hug for you when I see him. Just got my new one last week though and it is going to work a lot better. I changed your Rainbow Bridge home to fall and put a big pumpkin and nice big ham bone there for you. Next month will be 4 years since you went to Rainbow Bridge. We still miss you every single day. You should see that Romeo doggie. He is such a Momma Kathy's boy. I had not been to see him for about a month so last week he gave me the "cold shoulder" when I first got there to take care of him. Went two other times last week though and he was fine then. Back to his "cuddly" self. I sure wish he could come over here some and maybe later on he will be able to do that. I worry though that I can not take him out here to walk him-since I do well to walk myself. I do have a new prosthesis and is the best one I have had so far.It has a pink metal bar at bottom and then the socket is covered with palm trees in different colors. Did not have it covered with the foam like me other ones. I know exactly what you would do if you saw it. You would lift your little leg and "pee pee" on it :-). I always put "Angel Damien" on cards now to our doggie friend people. The weather is a little warmer now and this week will change my porch decorations from winter to Valentine Days. They are filled with some Ty Easter doggie toys and a Bichon beanie for the doggie Moms :-). Also made one for Jeanne at McDonalds and put a bichon beanie in it too. Has been a while since I dhanged your site. Is now summer and I gave you a big carrot and new bone. Hope you are having lots of fun with Max there now.Patty sent me some pictures of new bichon puppy she has now. I know she misses Max so very much just like I miss you every day. I went yesterday for "doggie therapy" with Romeo at Momma Kathy's. He won't stay in my lap very long but sits on my head all the time I am reading :-). His doggie friend Katie is in Florida for a couple of weeks so he really misses playing with her. Momma Kathy is going to take him over to visit Bella Bella and Gettoni soon. Have a friend who has been making me holiday stockings. The one Momma Kathy is taking to Jan's for the girls is a big stocking with blue bichon material and pink bones on the toe.The top has pink plush cuff and some charms.This is a Patriotic stocking and has a bichon with a red white blue hat on and also there is a Ty Patriotic plush dog bone toy. Sure wish I could send you some toys. Also gave one to Jeanne at McDonalds. She loved her Easter one and the Patriotic one too.Sent you some pictures of stockings and Ty doggie. It is hard to believe that today is five years since you went to doggie heaven at Rainbow Bridge. Everyone who knew you misses you so much. When I got gas Troy asked about you and Jeanne at McDonald's thinks of you often. Last week I took her a Bichon Halloween Stocking. Have ones made for Momma Kathy and Momma Jan too.Also have one for Katie since she is Romeo's best playmate and friend now. Put some doggie toys inside the stockings. I have my stocking hanging on the mantle and a few others in different places. Cyndi, the lady who makes them for me will be starting on Christmas ones soon. I found the bichon print material on ebay and for Christmas is a pretty green. I would give anything to have you here to cuddle with me. Romeo had to go to doctor in Knoxville. He hurt his leg (probably jumping on and off the bed) but is not broken and not same type of problem you had. He just has to take some medicine and that helps him.
