Darling Mikey....it is only 2 weeks and 5 days since you unexpectedly crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. We were preparing for our first Christmas in New Mexico. And Mikey was so joyous here in the mountains. Our hearts are broken. Our home is so empty as we touch all the things that were part of Mikey's life: Mikey's sweater, blanket, little bed (for daytime!). At night Mikey snuggled with us. We long to hear his little breath and see his wide open trusting eyes. Did an hour ever pass in which we did not check in with each other to "talk"?? Mikey, all 4 1/2 lbs of soft, loving, unconditional trust, we are lost without you. And so we reach out to your Angel Spirit to be with us. |
