Memories of Nicolo Tuscani

Nico joined our family in 1995. He was three months old and truly a fur baby. Along with his adopted brother Bear, they ruled the roost. Three years later, Galushka was born and joined the boys. All three were excited in 2001 when Mom and Dad had a little human baby boy named Joe. When Joe arrived home from the hospital, all three "nannies" ran to greet him. When Bear left us in 2002, Nico became the elder of the group. In 2005, a brother and sister named Bear (another one) and Piper were rescued from a mean old lady in Florida and joined the family. After nursing them back to health, they settled in to their new family. Nico and Bear became best friends. Nico's favorite things to do was to eat, sleep, lay on your feet, and howl like a coyote. He had soft fur on his ears and head and would lick you to death if he got near you. He was a small dog in size but he had no fear. He would sometimes pick fights with Galushka who was 150lbs. He was always the first to sound the alarm if someone was at the door. He is solely missed by Mom, Dad, Joe, Galushka, Bear and Piper. But we know that he is now running and playing with Bear I who has been waiting to see him since 2002. 7/1/08 - Nico we all miss you greeting us with a bark when we come home. Joe misses you sleeping in his room at night. Galushka has been depressed since you have been gone but she is slowly cheering up. Hope you and Bear are catching up on old times. 7/3/09 - Nico, hope you are having fun playing with Bear. We are well. Can't wait until we can see you again. 10/15/08 - Nico we love you and it is not normal not having you under our feet all of the time. We just got back from Ma's funeral. We are sure you were there to greet her when she arrived. She used to love to sit there and watch you. She loved to watch you run and play. Please tell her that we love her and miss her.
