Memories of Roxy
|
Roxy loved to ramble, and sleep in the bushes. She loved to sit under the lilacs and watch the hummingbirds. She was very shy around strangers who came to visit. She would sit downstairs, and if she felt it was okay, she would come upstairs, and walk around close to the strange visitors. Before they could reach down and pet her, she would take off to the safety of the basement. She loved her daily bowl of milk, and occasional pieces of chicken liver and bacon. She especially loved her ear scratching and belly rubs, purring came so easy to her. She use to come and climb up on the computer desk, walking across the keyboard, leaving the most unusual messages...lol. Roxy, baby girl, we'll miss you terribly. We will love you always and never forget you or your beautiful personality. Mayo is waiting for you at the Rainbow Bridge, take care of each other, and have fun and play in the sunshine. We'll be together again soon......love you both. 20/11/11 - Gathered up your toys and took your Christmas stocking down off the hook by your sitting place today. Still can't believe you're gone little Roxy Cat. Can't remove any of your other belongings, it doesn't feel right yet, miss you lots, hope you are with Mayo, and making new friends at Rainbow Bridge....will visit you soon......xoxo. 2/12/11 - It's going on 2 weeks since you went over the Rainbow Bridge. Gosh, we miss you little Roxy cat!! Daddy especially, since he had you in his life ever since you were a kitten. I have only known you for about 8 years, but I fell in love with you the moment I met you. I loved your quiet, shy personality, and the first time I saw you peeking at me from around the corner, and then the joy felt when you came up to me, and jumped onto my lap. You had me hooked, and the love I felt for you grew and grew and grew. I still haven't removed your belongings yet, it still feels too soon, maybe this week-end, and maybe not, we''ll see. I hope you have been having fun with Mayo and all of the other beautiful friends at Rainbow Bridge. We have had messages from other Mummies and Daddies who also love and miss their fur-babies, and hope you and the other babies are playing and having fun with each other. Please take care of each other, we miss you and love you, and will visit you again soon......xoxoxo 26/12/11 - Merry Christmas little Roxy cat, our first Christmas without you. We hope you and Mayo are having fun. We miss you guys very much. I finally was able to pack your things away, it looks so empty where you use to sleep. It may sound really insane, but I had a feeling you came back to visit a couple of times. I found a piece of your fur on the kitchen floor one morning about a week after you passed, and then I found another piece of fur on the stairway 2 days ago. I know there may be other answers to that, but it makes me feel better thinking you came back to visit, I miss you very much. Take care of Mayo and all of your new friends at Rainbow Bridge, and please welcome Erica to your group, she passed over to Rainbow Bridge today. She will be sadly missed by her human mummy Tanya. Tanya looks after abused and abandoned animals in the Dominican Republic. Love you so much, see you soon.....xoxo |
