Memories of Ruckus

Ruckus was an amazing dog. I remember the first time I held him and when I gave him to my brother to hold he kept his large black orb eyes on me the whole time. Ruckus hated the car every time he was put in it he cried until the ride was over. Ruckus loved to to follow me around every night he followed me into my room and slept on the end of my bed cuddling my feet. Ruckus hated the winter and living in New Hampshire that was not avoidable. He would always shiver and at times he would sit down and not move which always seemed like an oxymoron when it came to the fact that he was cold and shivering, and if it was cold enough he would only use three legs. He would run out from under our coffee table and bite at the Rottweiler's ankles and when they would retaliate he would run back under where they could not get to him. And during Christmas time we would have a cloth over they table and when he was under there one day he had fallen asleep and we thought that he had ran behind the tree and wouldn't come out we had moved the tree out and he wasn't there we had to search the whole house until he came out and when one of the Rotties walked by he went back in. Ruckus was an amazing dog whom I loved with my entire heart. I will miss him, but I know that he is with God and I will see him again someday.
