Memories of Spot

Spot was a stray cat when I bought my house in 1999. She lived outside for the first 6 years of her life. She would follow me every time I went outside. She helped me with the yard work and would sit with me on the porch. I was told she would never be an indoor cat since she had lived outside since she was born. I brough her inside to join the rest of the cats, not sure how she would do. She adapted wonderfully and was the head of the household with the other cats. She was a part of the family. I don't know how she survived outside because everytime it started to storm she would find me and stay with me until the storm was over. It makes me wonder where she went during a storm when she lived outside. My other cats took her in, as well. I knew when I came home she would be in her favorite window and would come and greet me at the door. She would also be there when I left in the morning. I know where she is now, she doesn't have to me afraid of the storms anymore. I know she is with Sheba & Lester.
