You left me today sweet Syrus. We waited what seemed like so long to get you after losing your brother, Strider. You had been such a joy to our lives. Having just lost your sister, Casey, last month to nasal carcinoma was hard enough and then finding out that Grandpa Tom has esophogeal cancer was taking it's toll. Your congenitive heart failure was a complete shock. Daddy was with you today and held your head in his lap as you crossed the bridge to be with your brothers and sister. You were with us such a short time but you will be loved forever. 03/18/08 - My dearest Syrus. You have been gone 2 days now. I still look for you you big lug! It's so hard to believe you are gone. Shannah and Jordan miss you terribly and poor baby Alyssa will never know how wonderful you truly were. Shannah keeps asking why her pets keep dying and I've told her that God has other plans for them. I reassure her it's nothing we've done and that you've all gotten sick and gone to heaven. I'm glad I able to say good bye and not let you suffer even though you hid the pain. Enjoy your new home and be nice to your sister! Love, Mom 03/22/08 - Hello my big boy! It will be one week tomorrow that you left me. Why did you have to leave us so early? Shannah let me know that you visited her the other night. She was so happy that you visited her. Love, Mommy 05/31/08 - Hello baby! You have been gone 2 1/2 months now and I still miss you so much! The house just isn't the same without your big head in the middle of everything. What I wouldn't give to have your big slobbery face plopped on my lap right now. Know that I love you and we did the best that we could for you. I love you big boy! Love, Mommy 03/19/11 - Good morning by big, huggy lump. I miss your hugs! Things have been so different since all of you left me. It's still hard having you gone. Between losing Casey and you a month apart my world started falling apart. Things have gotten better but I wish you were here to share it with me. Don't ever forget how much your momma loves you!
