| I remember clearly the day that you chose me at the pet store. You and your brother, out of a litter of eight, came up to me and sat and purred and stared at me and there was an immediate bond.You were always willing to let your brother shine and you stayed in the background. You were the quiet one, the one with the knowing eyes and took everything in.When your brother went over the rainbow Bridge, it was your time to shine and did you ever. You took over and filled our hearts full of love and caring. you ruled the household and we knew it and loved you for it.You followed me around the house and kept me warm at night. Now the bed is empty and cold where you once were, but sometimes, when I am real still, I feel your prescense and I know we are not alone. Your spirit is still among us and we still love you dearly. |
