When I needed Shadow he was always there to let me know it would be ok. I will miss his touch and the way only he could talk to me. I will miss his unconditional love. He was my special friend. I know God has cured your cancer, now you can get comfortable. I love you Shadow! 9/16/00 It has been one week since you passed...I still ache for you...Lucky misses you. Daddy, Bill & the kids are always thinking of you. Your mommie loves you and you will always have a special place in my heart. I miss you! He spent the last 4 months in and out of hospitals, each time a little bit more serious then the last hospital stay. He had only been out of the hospital for about a week and a half.. he was doing and looking great, but on Friday the 10th he was real out of it and just wanted to rest. I wanted to call 911 but he said no, for some reason I think he knew that this was it. He always told me that he never wanted to die in a cold hospital. I fell asleep and got up at 6:24am to go to the bathroom... I found him on the floor ... he was gone. They said multi organ failure. I feel as if half my mind, body and soul are missing. I love and miss all of you so much. I hope that you and Lucky were at the bridge for him and you are all together waiting till we can all be together. The 6 other furbabies and my doggie will probably be with you guys before me, at least that is how it should go,then we can all be together. I love and adore all of you. Even with the others I feel so empty, not that I love them any less, but you and Lucky were my first furbabies, and Bill was my soulmate. Please remember that I LOVE YOU and you will always be my little man ... XOXOXO
