Memories of Taylor

August 6, 2011 Taylor was such an amazing dog. She gave our family so many loving memories. We loved her dearly!!! Her best friend was Harmony, our other dog who thought the world of Taylor. Taylor joined our family about ten years ago. She started out as my husband's dog, but of course she became a mama's girl. Throughout the years she brought all of us so much joy! Even when our children were born she immediately started pacing the halls, guarding our new babies. She was such a good dog!! She was a huge fan of tennis balls, chicken, peanut butter, and a good belly rub!!! Although she was stubborn, she portrayed the most unconditional love a furparent could hope for. She always watched over the house and our children with a love and protection that was admirable. I just regret the day came that we had to make that difficult decision to help her find peace. She's been looking for that peace for over a year now, and after lots of heartache, we helped her cross over. Please forgive mommy and daddy, baby girl, we just wanted your happiness, and you had lost the light in your eyes. I pray the light is back and shining brilliantly!!! We love her and miss her so much, and pray that she has eternal happiness while running free with an endless pile of SlimJims, peanut butter and tennis balls. Taylor, your memory will always live on in our hearts and minds, and I pray you know how much we love you!!! Love, Mommy August 9, 2011 Taylor baby, We miss you so much!!! Harmony has been looking for you, but we are making sure she is getting the love she needs. I want you to know how much we love you, and you will always have a place in our hearts. I hope you are running free, and have made some amazing friends!!! I want you to know that you will be well taken care of, and will have everything your heart desires :-) We miss you dearly, but the pain is starting to be replaced with fond memories. I love you sweet baby, and your whole family here looks forward to the day we are all reunited!!! Love, Mommy August 15, 2011 Dearest Taylor, I want you to know that we are doing a little better. Not a day goes by that we don't think of you, but now we are having fond memories. We will soon have your ashes, and I wanted you to know that we will be sprinkling your ashes out at the Preserve. You used to LOVE that place. You would run, splash through the water, search little critters, and play with Harmony. We felt that it would be the perfect place for the ashes of the body you left behind. It will be a special service for you, and I will life up my love on angels wings so that you feel that love from my heart. Also, there are SO many loving furparents that have been contacting me sending their love and condolences. It has really helped to heal my heart. It's amazing how many of them are telling their furbabies to meet you there at the Rainbow Bridge so that you will have many friends to play with. I know you are truly happy now, and under the watchful eye of our God, and you have all that you could ever need and want. Please just LIVE and be FREE!!! You deserve all the happiness in the world for all that you went through. I just pray that you please forgive me and your daddy for the hardest decision we've had to make in a long time. I want you to know that we made that decision in the hopes of you finally finding the peace that you searched long and hard for on this earth. I love you so much, Tay-tay, and want you to always feel the love we ALL have for you!!! One more thing baby girl, look for the light tonight, for I will be lighting three candles in your memory in hopes that you see the light and feel the love from our hearts!!! With love and jerky treats!!! Mommy
