Welcome to Tazz's Rainbow Residency

Tazz's Rainbow Residency

Memories of Tazz

Tazz loved to play and explore in the yard or where every we were. He was always on a sniffing trail for something. He loved to chase the birds. I adopted Tazz when he was 6 months old needless to say we have been thru a lot in life. Tazz was always there for me turning my frowns into smiles and bringing me happieness. He was a well traveled baby - Carolinas, Florida, Arizona, Canada, etc. He loved to ride on the boat and steal my seat in the rv. For many years Tazz did pet therepy in the hospital and retirement homes and brought joy to many people. I am not sure what I am going to do without my baby boy....

Heaven's Doggy-Door
My best friend closed his eyes last night,
As his head was in my hand.
The Doctors said he was in pain,
and it was hard for him to stand.
The thoughts that scurried through my head,
As I cradled him in my arms.
Were of his younger, puppy years,
And Oh...his many charms.
Today, there was no gentle nudge
With an intense "I love you gaze",
Only a heart that's filled with tears
Remembering our joy filled days.
But an Angel just appeared to me,
And he said, "You should cry no more,
GOD also loves our canine friends, He's installed a 'doggy-door'!!!

The Rainbow Bridge Poem

There is a bridge connecting Heaven and Earth. It is called the Rainbow Bridge because of its many colors. Just this side of the Rainbow Bridge, there is a land of meadows, hills and valleys with lush green grass.
When a beloved pet dies, the pet goes to this place. There is always food and water, and warm spring weather. The old and frail animals are young again. Those who have been maimed are made whole again. They play all day with each other.

But there is only one thing missing. They are not with their special person who loved them on Earth. So each day they run and play until the day comes when one suddenly stops playing and looks up. The nose twitches! The ears are up! The eyes are staring! And this one suddenly runs from the group!

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. Your face is kissed again and again and again, and you look once more into the eyes of your trusting pet.

Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together, never again to be separated.
