Memories of Zelda II

You were a small,fourth of July, kitten; born in a garage to a feral mommy cat. You lived with us for almost fifteen years. Your medical concerns were stoically accepted by you, after bladder surgery and many bladder infections. You asked for so little, and spent your life quietly staying in the kitchen. A favorite fun thing you did was drinking from the kitchen faucet. Now, I have to stop myself from turning on the cool water for you - you drink no more---- We had little enough time to play, as you preferred to be left in quietude. I pray that you find will have peace and comfort in Heaven. Your mother was feral, and I hope you can be with her, and Zing, and Winnie II, and Quigley, who you might have known in your kitty life with us. Gone and not forgotten - you death was as gentle as your life. Love and soft petting to you. |
