The world seems colder now without you.
Empty 
Still
It's too quiet in the house.
The backyard is too large.

I miss your kind eyes
Handshakes 
And hi-fives

Your friends are looking for you
And so am I
Around corners 
In the hallway
And beside the couch.

I hope you know 
How much I loved you
And how much better my life has been because of you.

I hope to see you again 
Hug your soft neck
And go for a swim.

Until then, I'll keep your memory close to my heart, and a picture of you in my mind.
