We had to say goodbye yesterday and already my heart is breaking and I don't know what to do. I can still see you in the house, your big grin as you would follow me around. The way you tilted your head sideways when you hear the word 'walk' and the company you were to me when we would wait for daddy to come home. The kitties miss you and your brother Chance. It is so quiet here.

The vet gave me a poem yesterday. Rainbow Bridge. I have learned that you are still with me and can see me. I know you can hear me cry. It's just a people thing though. It's what we do when we are sad. I know you are in a wonderful, beautiful place and are happy. I can't wait to see you again. But I have to wait for my time too. I can feel you with me in spirit but it is so strange not to be able to reach out and touch you. Your daddy and I love you so much.
