My Soulmate

| Today I did the hardest thing I've had to do in 56yrs. Put DOWN my Companion,my soul mate,my giver of UNCONDITIONAL LOVE, my dog GOTTIE. He was 17yrs old and it was starting to show a little bit more every day.There were good days and there were bad.But I need to say something about GOTTIE,he was a PITBULL,but not like the ones you see on the news.he was always excited to see me,or anyone for that matter.He never held a grudge if I came home a little late,or if you were to busy to play.He was still just as happy when you did.He had alot of new surroundings in his life ,my new husband 7yrs ago..he loved him right away,even though he was not an animal person.GOTTIE'S attitude was I'll make him love me.A new grandaughter 6yrs ago,never jealous or territorial,he loved her.He never missed a day of waiting at the door for any of us.We were his FAMILY.I am not sure how we are going to survive without him here.I just felt I had to tell you about him,the love of my life a PITBULL,mans best friend,the best friend I ever had.I am SO SAD and I will MISS HIM WITH ALL MY HEART.
