Hugo- A Golden Retriever

I had a dog named Hugo. He had the perfect face. All white with a golden touch. He was not too big and not to small. He walked with regality, like a show dog. He always followed me. From the den to the living room, even outside he followed. He is loyal. Where I went, he would go. He was always trying to find people. Whenever a door opened, he would lift his head to find the person. He would sit in a spot where he could watch us. He never bagged nor barks. He was a gentleman. He took food gently. He was handsome and happy. He loved being with family. He loved to be petted by family, and just about anybody. He enjoyed swimming and walking. He would charge out of the house like a puppy and soon after he would slow down. He wanted to please and be happy. When the day ended he would follow me to bed. He would lay down and look at me as I turned the light off. He looked at me as I went to sleep. He wanted to make sure I was there so he would not be afraid or alone. Now he is gone. I will miss Hugo. He always sat near me. He displayed loyalty and gave all of his love. I will never forget a dog named Hugo. |
