Chafie the wonder dog

| I lost my first dog that was ever my own, over two years ago. I now keep his dog tag on my key chain. I still remember the first time he tried to go swimming in a pond, when it was frozen. He jumped out into the pond, thinking it was just water. It was frozen over solid. He lost his balance, and just went skidding on the ice covered pond. His eyes were huge, and you could just tell by his look, this isn't supposed to happen. I still laugh when I think of his look. It has been two years since he has passed, and I still miss him badly. It is so hard to replace a pet, especially when he is like your child. I will always remember Chafie, and the way he loved life. Miss you buddy, but I will see you again. Love ya Chafie!! |
