My Precious Boy

| My sweet black lab, Murphey of 14 years passed away on April 19, 2010. Murphey had such a gentle soul that would greet any stranger with a kiss. He was loved not only by me, but many others that had the chance to be a part of his life. Murphey, brought me so much joy and happiness and was my very best friend. I never knew that one dog could bring you so much love in your life and everyday we spent together was such a blessing. Murphey became diabetic about three months ago and I just knew with his age that this was going to take him away from me. I started to see him decline and not want to eat. Then I saw the look in his eyes and I knew he was ready to go. The hardest thing I have ever had to do was hold my sweet boy until he fell asleep in my arms. I knew he was not suffering anymore and the pain was gone but mine has just begun. They say that time will heal and I am praying each day that this pain will go away and I can be happy again. He was my first dog and best companion I could have ever had asked for. Murphey, I will never forget you and you will always be my "Precious Boy". |
