Red

We got Red when she was just a little ball of fur. We had you before we had our children, you were our first "baby". I didn't have a dog growing up and wanted one so very badly. So, you were my first pet. At first you were nothing but trouble...accidents in the house, chewing up everything in sight. But you learned quickly and were so smart. Our two kids were born a few years later and you grew to love them as they loved you. We have so many great memories and pictures to look back on and for that I am thankful. You were so spoiled and spoiled us right back. You went to sleep on April 23rd, 2010 and woke up at the Rainbow Bridge. I am so thankful you went so soundly. I only wish we would have known so we could have given you some extra love that last night. It is so quiet around our house now it is almost too much to bear. I don't want to think about taking a walk... Everywhere I look there are reminders of you. I know each day will get easier and someday we will meet again. We love you Red!!
