Cocoa, my precious.

Cocoa was a great dog, she was absolutly loyal and the greatest dog we could ever have. She one day decided to run off onto the highway. We got Cocoa April of 2009. Our family was so happy to have her, and we played with her. We all taught her to stay in the yard, but one day she ran onto the highway. You see, they have been doing construction on this highway in front of our house, and they had moved it even CLOSER. We all knew that a dog would get killed, just not ours. So she ran onto the highway, and someone hit her. No one heard any horns, and we all thought she was inside. I was outside and my was dialing a number. Our second cousin Jamie picked up, "Where's Nancy?" My dad asked, "Cocoa just got run over." My dad hoped my mom was nearby. My cousin and mom were at a river for the night. My mom held Jamie's cell to her ear and said, "Hello?" "Hi, Nancy, umm...Cocoa just got run over. I'm really sorry." "WHAT?! Oh god! I'm coming home..NOW." I overheard my dad and I started freaking out. I covered my mouth and my two little sisters were all, "Whats wrong?" I tried to speak but the tears just kept coming. I ran to my room and started crying and stuff. My dad was shouting and my sisters were screaming. "I'm sorry, Kenzie." He said to me... This happened yesterday (September 1, 2010) R I P C O C O A !
