Unconditional Love

by Landra Harwood.........................................

Dear Tuttie, you were abandoned by your breeder owner because you had inatropia and had gone blind. So what, you had unconditional love and brought me years of joy and laughter.Remember please do not put your nose in any weiner roast up there(you burnt your nose last time.) Boy, you might have been blind but your smeller worked just fine. When you came in from outdoors you perched by the counter with the treats. You were no dummy. And you could count too. If you didn't get three, oh my you told me about it.You were solid white with brown freckles on your ears. It was instant love both ways. You joined the others at the rainbow bridge on Wednesday at 3:00PM. Beth and I took you to the park and took some last minute photos of you and got you your favorite vanilla ice cream(you were too sick to eat it). You were dying of total renal failure. Yes I held you and cried like a baby when you took your last breathe. The vet assured me "you are a very kind soul" I hope you are running and playing your heart out. I hope you have found Jake and Sassie bulldog. My heart has been ripped out, but I know you are in a better place and in no pain now. It was like losing my child. My heart aches so bad I could die.Punkin(brown bulldog) sits and stares at your cage and looks at me with those big brown eyes and no teeth. She misses you too. She knows she was rescued first(found in a ditch with no I.D. over bred weighing only 37#) She has blossomed with love to 65 plus pounds and know she is loved too. You had your way-I never moved the furniture. You were smart as any map.I wish we had more years but I tried my best to make up for the life you had before. You were funny- you ate your "babies, blankets and bed" I just bought more. The day you found the mud hole at the lake was like dipping you in chocolate pudding. I still have those movies. And when we would go to Earl Mae and you would lay in the froggy position on their floor because the concrete was cool.I will have many loving memories of you "Tut Man" and Love you AlWAYS. Love your Human Momma Landra
