This morning

I just lost my Maggie she was my black lab and best friend for 13 years.. it has only been 2 weeks but her spirit is all around me.. This is simply a story if someone does not truly believe in spirits, please read my story. I have always been a believer and it is so comforting.. My lab loved to lay on our deck and check out the birds, squirrels, etc.. I would have to remind her several times it is time to go to bed and cuddle with me.. since Maggie has been gone I still turn the deck light on every night when I am home... I don't really know why I just still do.... like I am still looking for her or checking on her...... and in the mornings I look on the deck still.... it had snowed all night the night before, well this morning there were 8 very distinct dog paw prints.. definitely dog prints on the deck by the door.. yet there were no prints or any markings in the fresh snow leading to the door or back to the steps.. nothing anywhere else but those 8 prints.. I opened up the door and checked all over the deck and looked in the yard... fresh snow no tracks... did Maggie touch down as if she landed there for a moment in a couple of spots to check on me and let me know she is so happy in heaven.... Did she touch down twice or maybe she had a friend with her... Wow it is so surreal..... There is no other explanation for this.. then it was her spirit. Notice the smallest details... I bet it is your furry loved one that came to see you..... |
