Tribute to "Buddy-Boy"

We buried our "Buddy-Boy" today...
It was one of the hardest things we've ever had to do...we were there with him when he was put to rest...comforting, touching, and talking to him.
The pain of losing him will never go away but there is a profound sense of beauty knowing that we ended his suffering and that he was not alone in the end.

Our message to Buddy-Boy:
"Buddy-Boy, you will always be remembered and loved...Fuzzie-Girl misses you, too. She keeps looking for you. We buried you today in the backyard so you will always be with us...you were placed lovingly in your grave wrapped in a blanket with your favorited biscuits strewn around you...we said a prayer over you and covered you with the earth....please know that you were loved and that we mourn for you. You are truly FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS."
