AMADEUS Here lies Amadeus My faithful friend A truer companion in soul and spirit The Lord could never send You have always been there for me For as long as you possibly could On the good days and the bad days You always understood You made me feel much better When I was feeling sad You made it hard to be angry When you were being bad You knew just what to say to me Although you could not speak My love and my approval Were the only things you'd seek Everyday that goes by I miss you more and more The pitter patter of your feet Your greeting at the door I'ts hard to express my feelings Such a short time you were mine You were so much more to me Than just my old canine I will never forget you For now, we are apart One day we'll be together again Because your home is in my heart -By Lisa Hansford |
