Bella

Bella passed away yesterday. I was holding her in my lap and she was very peaceful. She had been very sick for a long time and that she survived this long shows how much will to live she had.
I remember the first time I saw her. I said, what is that, that can't be a dog. She looked like a bear to me, I had never seen such a big dog. She turned out to be the most incredibly gentle and loving animal, a gentle giant. I called her Bella because she was so beautiful.
Bella loved her walks and her treats at night and her trips to Petsmart where sometimes people would take a picture of her, she was so beautiful. She couldn't go out these last few weeks so I hope she is doing all those things she loved now. Sleep in peace, gentle giant. |
