My sweet dog Annie

| We lost our sweet dog Annie last night. She had not been eating, not acting her happy spaniel self. She was going to get better. She got worse. So weak, but yet she still wanted to lay near her family. The vet said she had internal bleeding and diagnosis did not look good. She was so weak and anemic having the blood work and xrays done caused her to have a seizure and pass out for a short time. She looked at me with those eyes of unconditional love. The vet said she probably was not aware of too much, but I know she was aware of everything the way she looked at me. I did not want to say good bye. Wasn't there anything they could do for my sweet Annie? I had to leave and my husband stayed with her. I wish I had stayed with her. I love and miss her so. I went home and went through the photos of her and just cried. I feel as if I lost a member of the family or my very best friend. I know I am going to feel sad for a very long time...... |
