Shaylee's 2nd Anniversary

Hi My Precious Shaylee. I can't believe that you have been gone 2 years now. It seems like only yesterday that I found you under your favorite window. Patrick and I miss you so much. Patrick is very lonely now. He is not used to being alone. There is not a day that goes by that I don't think about you. I miss you so, so much. I am so thankful for the 5 1/2 few years that we had with you. You brought us so much love and joy. We fell in love with you at first sight. You were so tiny, that you fit in the palm of my hand. You would snuggle in my neck at night. I hope you are having fun running with the other fur babies. Patrick is sitting here with me as I write this. I have your picture with Patrick on my desktop at work. I see you every day. People comment how beautiful you were. You were beautiful inside and out. It's funny, whenever I take the clothes out of the dryer, I can picture you running up on the table and making a little space in the warm clothes for you to snuggle in. I can still seeing you doing your little curtsy when I come home from work at night. I know that in spirit you are with us. Sometimes, Patrick goes nuts at night, almost like he is seeing you. I'm sure you let him know that you are with him. I hope you are happy. We just want you to know how so very much we love you and always will. I still cry because I miss you so much. I hope you are at peace. Be happy our precious Shaylee. Lots and lots of love, Mommy and Patrick. |
