My Nice Rabbit Shadow

| It was April Fools Day, my mom said I had a surprise. She opened up the box, when I looked in there, tears filled my eyes. I saw a black rabbit, she was so soft and shiny. Everyday she would be standing on her box waiting to be pet. She was a beloved compainon. We decided to name her Shadow. She was the cutest little bunny i've ever seen! But then the sad part, I didn't even get to spend a year with her! Three months later, I was going outside to feed her, I saw her lying on her side, I put some cold water on her mouth, then I relized, she was dead! When I saw that, I almost cried my eyes out. I was so ashamed! I told my mom, it was so hot and the rabbit died, she said it got heat stroke. I will never forget you Shadow! I love you! |
