"I go out in the car and that's always such fun....
and they'll throw me a ball, and I run and I run.
I've got everything that this life could allow.....
If they hadn't found me.... who knows where I'd be now."

"But the years have gone by, I'm not young any more
and they don't let me run now... my legs are too sore.
It's arthritis or something that I've heard them say,
But it hinders me somewhat when I'd like to play".

"I'm feeling more tired with each day that goes by
and I cannot hear much now, I'm not quite sure why.....
but my mum keeps me comfy, and she just lets me rest....
and she makes sure she's near me every chance that she gets."

"I'm not feeling well now, not much appetite.....
and I have trouble eating my dinner at night.
I've been feeling sick and I wish I could speak
I just want to lie down.... I'm feeling so weak."

"I know before too long they'll see something's wrong
and I'll go to the hospital where I belong.
My time with my wonderful family is nigh.........
and I'll go to that playground up there in the sky"

"I've had a great life, and I hope they won't cry
but I'm ready to go now... and tell them goodbye.
Just one more hug, and a cuddle and kiss
Oh please do not worry...... I'm ready for this."

"So I'm watching them now and they're feeling so sad......
I wish I could tell them what a great life I had.
I'm happier now and I've got no more pain....
I've got energy back and I'm healthy again."
