My Little Dorcie Girl

One day you were here running around the house all happy and full of life. The next day you were gone....it happened that quickly. Despite all your problems , the knee surgery , the cataract surgery , the back surgery. You came through it all with flying colors ... happy as could be. You were your usual self , a FUN LOVING , MISCHIEVOUS , HAPPY Little Girl. But the cancer, the darn oral cancer .. that you couldn't beat. You couldn't win that one last battle. I am so sorry that I couldn't help you just ONE LAST TIME. I couldn't give you the extra , well deserved , years of life to enjoy. I am TRULY SORRY Dorcie ...TRULY , TRULY SORRY. You were a good girl , a VERY GOOD GIRL. For thirteen years , you gave nothing but JOY , LOVE and LAUGHTER. You were a CHARACTER , whose personality was ( and will forever be ) unmatched. They say that you don't know what you have till it's gone. But I knew, yes I knew , you were special....VERY , VERY SPECIAL. Our lives are all we have , and yours was taken, WAY TO SOON.......why , I'll never know or understand. REST IN PEACE Dorcie.....I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU. |
