My Memory

My Memory, I had to leave,
there was nothing I could do.
My Memory, you have my ways,
my spirit lives in you.

I will live forever in their hearts,
But, a broken heart is what they feel.
My Memory, you are a part of me,
loving you will help them heal.

This is a tragic and confusing time.
Oh, Memory, I know your sad.
Please don't worry little one,
my love, you're in good hands.

When I was first brought here alone and young,
and frightened just like you.
It never mattered what I did.
Their love I always knew.

Precious Memory, my Memory,
Love and trust them and be strong.
For only in you, baby Memory,
I can still live on.
