my moms terrible loss

| The day percy got so sick I knew it was the end. I saw the pain in my moms eyes because she knew it too. The next morning on nov.25 my moms birthday, she called me and asked me to go with her to the vet. I didn't realize how bad percy was til I saw him. It was so sad. A once full of pep gentle giant was cold and limp on the floor. He was breathing so heavy. When my moms friend came to take us to the vet it was a sad moment. How do you prepare your self for that. My mom was so heart broken. It killed me to have to say, she decided to put him down. Percy was gone in a matter of a few seconds. It hurt to see my mom in so much pain. He was an awesome dog. I'll never forget that big cuddle bug. I pray that my mom stops feeling so bad. I think she made the right decision putting him down. He was suffering, and now she gave him peace again. He loved her so much. They'll meet again and when they do it will be bitter sweet. We love you bubby an we will pray for you. Rest in peace sir. |
