We went to look at a litter of Great Pyr puppies with a friend. During the visit one pup crawled up in our laps and and I looked into eyes that seemed to stare into my very soul. We brought home Theoden Celeborn. What a pup--goofy but well behaved. Our first day of obedience training, he did everything perfectly. He grew to be just a huge handsome dog who loved everyone and everything especially kittens. He was so careful around them and after a cleaning by his big tongue the kittens were just a mess, but we never scolded him because he loved them so much. Theo grew older and older until the day he started limping and then a day later he couldn't walk. We all knew it was time. He lived to be 15 which was really old for a great pyrenees. He was never sick a day in his life. He will be sorely missed by the whole family. |
